Façade lighting is the deliberate illumination of a building's exterior envelope. Done properly it is an engineering discipline: photometric study, luminaire selection, mounting detail, thermal design, glare control, cabling, control topology and commissioning — not simply mounting fixtures on a wall.
RGB systems create white by mixing three colours, which produces a tinted, unstable white and visible colour shift when dimmed. RGBW adds a dedicated white LED, delivering richer whites, deeper saturated colours, smoother low-end dimming and far more uniform colour mixing across long façade runs.
It depends on channel count per fixture, refresh requirements and cable topology. We calculate the DMX universe budget, power injection points and voltage-drop limits during engineering, then document the exact fixture count per controller and per run for your project.
Yes. Length, wattage, beam angle, optics, housing colour, bracket type, mounting method, control protocol, voltage, colour temperature, DMX addressing, cable length, connector type and branding are all specified per project.
